🇬🇧 FediMeteo is also available in the UK.

If you live in the UK and would like to have the local weather forecast directly in your Fediverse timeline, have a look at FediMeteo.

Each supported place has its own account, so you can simply follow the one nearest to you and get the forecast without installing another app or visiting another website.

It is a small project, built around the Fediverse and open standards, and new places are being added over time.

          @admin A suggestion if I may? I live in rural New Jersey, USA. I wanted to see if any of your existing feeds came close enough that I would accept it as a substitute for the town I live in. The only ways I saw to search required me to know all of the nearby towns to see if anybody had already asked. Would you please consider adding coordinate based search to the page somehow, or even a separate page? It would reduce that friction if so. Thank you for your time.

            That would make total sense, thanks for the idea. But due to the structure of the project (specifically, it uses snac - a Fediverse platform - rather than a custom-built system), I think it will be difficult to implement. I'll still try to give it some thought, though.
