    @thinkberg@tetrax.de the amount of displayed data has been selected studying what people usually need:
    - short term (12 hours) forecasts will help commuters
    - long term forecasts will help people that have to plan outdoor activities

    The emojis will help people unable to understand the local language, the text is more precise and will also increase accessibility.

    That said, maybe a "more compact" version could come in the future. I'll keep this in mind and thank you for suggesting it!

                Double Update:

                - Thanks to a recent commit prepared for us by @grunfink@comam.es (the author of snac), all new posts will now have the correct language setting.

                - New cities from Cymru/Wales have been added to the UK: Caernarfon, Carmarthen, Holyhead, Monmouth, and St David's.

                                                  I've removed the hashtag with the Country name - people are following a Country's hashtag to have more information about that Country - receiving the weather details of all the supported cities every 6 hours could be quite annoying.

                                                    @bubbleb74@snac.doosom.com the meteo details are downloaded in raw from the Open-Meteo servers, then the message is constructed in local language. That is, one script per Country/language. That's why I also put the emojis, so it should be easier to interpret 🙂

                                                              @nemobis@mamot.fr I didn't set any language on snac - I'm not sure if it defaults to English or it's the receiving Mastodon instance that sets it to English as it doesn't find any language set.
